Terms of Service
Last updated: November 20, 2025
1. Overview
TicketMonster’s Traffic Ticket Protection is a self-help membership modeled on the GetDismissed subscriber agreement. The service delivers attorney-reviewed Trial by Written Declaration document packages for eligible California traffic infractions and provides member-only resources that simplify court filings. By using our website or purchasing Protection, you agree to these Terms.
2. Ticket Eligibility
Protection can only be applied to traffic infractions that meet every requirement below. If any of these statements describe your citation, it is considered ineligible:
- Past-due tickets or matters with a Failure to Appear
- Citations that require a mandatory in-person appearance
- Misdemeanor or criminal violations
- Parking citations
- Tickets that are not filed with a California Superior Court
- Citations issued to someone other than the account holder
- Tickets for which the court will not accept bail payment
3. Protection Perks
- Unlimited Trial by Written Declaration document sets for every eligible ticket linked to your account
- Access to periodically updated discounts on traffic-school, defensive driving, and mobility partners
- Curated self-help guides that walk you through bail posting, document delivery, and court follow-ups
- Priority onboarding support whenever you add a new ticket to your dashboard
4. Payment & Billing
Recurring billing
Enrolling in Traffic Ticket Protection authorizes TicketMonster to charge the yearly membership fee to the payment method on file. The fee is collected at sign-up and on each renewal date unless you cancel beforehand.
Price adjustments
We may change membership pricing or promotional terms at our discretion. Any increase takes effect after we send written notice (usually by email). Continuing service after the effective date confirms acceptance.
Billing cycle
Memberships renew on the calendar day that corresponds to your original purchase. If a charge fails, we may attempt the payment again and adjust your renewal date when the transaction succeeds.
No refunds
All fees are fully earned when paid. We do not provide refunds or prorated credits for partial periods. In rare cases we may extend courtesy credits, but doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.
Payment methods
You may update or replace your payment method at any time inside the customer dashboard. If a payment cannot be processed and you do not update your information, you remain responsible for unpaid balances and any resulting interruption of service.
5. Cancellation
- You may cancel Traffic Ticket Protection at any time from the “Your Protection” tab of your dashboard.
- Cancellation turns off auto-renew. You will continue to have access through the end of the paid term.
- We do not issue refunds or credits for unused time once the current term has started.
6. Limitations & Disclaimers
- TicketMonster is not a law firm and cannot provide legal advice or legal representation. We operate as a bonded and registered Legal Document Assistant.
- We cannot offer advice, explanations, opinions, or recommendations about possible legal rights, remedies, defenses, or strategies. Court outcomes are solely determined by the presiding judge.
- You are responsible for reviewing the documents we prepare, paying any required bail, filing paperwork on time, and monitoring court communications.
no guarantee of outcome
Court rulings, penalty reductions, and dismissals are outside of TicketMonster’s control. Judges determine case outcomes even when you submit documents we prepared.
7. Communications & Consent
- By submitting a form, clicking “Continue,” or creating an account, you provide your signature authorizing TicketMonster and its agents to contact you via live call, autodialed call, SMS, or email at the number or address supplied.
- Standard carrier rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase, and you may revoke consent at any time.
- All communications and data handling are governed by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
